Child sexual abuse and exploitation are strictly prohibited.
inwali does not permit content, behaviour or activity that sexually exploits, abuses, endangers or facilitates the exploitation of anyone under the age of 18.
This includes child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexual solicitation of minors, coercion, sextortion, trafficking, attempts to obtain sexual imagery from a minor, or any activity intended to facilitate child sexual abuse or exploitation.
inwali is for users aged 18 and over.
Users must be at least 18 years old to create or use an inwali account. We do not knowingly allow minors to participate in the dating or matchmaking experience.
- ✓ Users are required to meet our minimum age requirement.
- ✓ Accounts identified as belonging to users under 18 may be restricted or removed.
- ✓ Attempts to misrepresent age in order to access the service may result in account action.
Users can report safety concerns directly in the app.
inwali provides in-app reporting tools that allow users to report accounts and behaviour that may violate our safety standards.
Reports involving suspected child sexual abuse, exploitation, grooming or other threats to a child are treated as high-priority safety matters and are reviewed for appropriate action.
We take action when prohibited activity is identified.
Where inwali becomes aware of content or conduct involving child sexual abuse or exploitation, we may take appropriate action including removing content, restricting or terminating accounts, preserving relevant information where legally appropriate, and preventing further access to the service.
We do not tolerate the creation, upload, distribution, solicitation or promotion of CSAM or any activity intended to facilitate the sexual exploitation of children.
We comply with applicable child-safety reporting obligations.
Where required by applicable law, inwali reports confirmed child sexual abuse material (CSAM) to the appropriate child-safety or law-enforcement authority. We maintain a process for escalating and reporting such material in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
For services within scope of the UK Online Safety Act, applicable CSEA reporting obligations may include reporting detected and previously unreported CSEA content to the UK National Crime Agency through the required reporting process.
Prohibited activity includes:
- ✓ Creating, sharing, requesting or distributing child sexual abuse material.
- ✓ Grooming or attempting to build a relationship with a minor for sexual purposes.
- ✓ Sexual conversations, requests or propositions directed at a minor.
- ✓ Sextortion, coercion or blackmail involving a child.
- ✓ Facilitating, encouraging or promoting child exploitation or trafficking.
- ✓ Attempting to use inwali to locate, contact or exploit minors.
